The Fix Neo Mini 500 and 1000 lights have two modes - normal, where the light stays on constantly, and auto shut off, where the light goes off when you take a photo.
When you turn on the light, it defaults to normal mode, and many customers get confused as to why it is not shutting off as described.
To activate the auto shut off mode simply press and hold down the button when you turn on the light for a few seconds, the indicator light will start blinking. This signifies that it is in auto shut off mode.
You can tell if you are in normal mode if the indicator light is solid. In auto shut off mode it will blink.
